4 Sneaky Excuses Sabotaging You From Living Richly NOW

Living Richly, in my humble opinion, is where it’s at.  It’s a beautifully simple experience of feeling totally satisfied (while continuously committed to growth).  Where you feel proud and accomplished, creatively expressed, totally connected, nourished and alive.

And yet there’s a million and one reasons why you may not be Living Richly right now, including four sneaky excuses I so commonly see holding business women back.

How to Feel Rich Today

“I have dreams (nightmares really) where I lose everything. My home, my business, my favorite things - all are being taken away from me.” “I have enough money right now for everything I need, but I’m constantly worried that I won’t in the future.”

“I’m scared to have my sweet new Porsche in my driveway because I think kids are going to come key it.”

“I’ve wanted _______ for years but haven’t let myself get one just in case that little bit of money is needed for something else.”

“I just got a gorgeous upgraded wedding ring for my anniversary, and I don’t even feel comfortable celebrating it with my friends because I’m scared they will feel uncomfortable.”

All of these people have enough money, many would even consider themselves financially well off or rich. They have the things they desired (or the means to have them), and yet they can’t seem to enjoy it. It’s there but they aren’t fully receiving it.

I Promised Myself I'd Never Do Public Speaking

Growing up I saw myself as a quiet follower. The black/odd sheep, but nevertheless, a sheep that would follow and try to fit in… but not stand out.

As I got older, in attempts to build some confidence and to attempt to make some use out of my height, I went into modelling classes. While this awkward, gangly gal was not particularly awesome at any of the things we had to do there, there was one thing in particular I was TERRIFIED of.

Sisterhood and Leadership

As the 2016 Sexified Success Circle (SSC) wrapped up this week, I was reflecting on sisterhood and was brought to memories of this summer. I communed with red woods, made leather medicine pouches, sang and smoked ceremonial tobacco (fun fact - this was the first time I've ever smoked tobacco!), danced barefoot and topless, and ate delicious meals in a field with 600 other women at the Spirit Weavers Gathering.  I thought of moments in SSC retreats: dancing, swimming with dolphins, in ceremony and talking business.

Courage to Get Uncomfortable

I closed my eyes, placed my hands on heart, and inhaled deeply.  I felt the fear and anticipation flow through my body.

I shook my hips, grounded my feet and let the reason I was here to wash over me – to be present and to keep walking forward with a commitment to ever-evolving into more of myself.  To burning away the aspects of self that were never really true and embracing the power and strength that I never knew was there.

Then I opened my eyes and walked forward.

The One Thing No One Talks About When It Comes to Coaching

There’s a lot that’s been coming to the surface and discussed about entrepreneurship and coaching.  The behind-the-scenes look at money, attraction, magic and more (all my fave things!).

But, there’s something that hasn’t been talked about… because, well it’s a little uncomfortable and today I’d like to shine some light on it.

I’ve witnessed it from all sides of the coin.

Why You Need a Mastermind

Four years ago my life changed. Up until that point I had looonged for a group of really close girlfriends. Women who would see me, understand me and love me for who I was and would let me do the same for them.

But, how and where did this exist??!  I saw it on shows like Sex & The City but had yet to have a taste of it in real life.

And, then I found my piece of it.  A mastermind for purpose-driven women.
