Hi, I’m Allison

At my core, my mission is to support you in liberating your most Undeniable Expression and most Potent Leadership, so you can make the impact you know you are here to make.

sex & business... have I gone too far?

sex & business... have I gone too far?

I am well aware that sex is still a super touchy subject for many. In this article I am going to cover what using sexual energy in business means and what it doesn't mean and 2 ways you can use sexual energy into your business (for good!) whether you are a beginner or more advanced.

I recently shared some new content with a group of fellow coaches.  This content had  some spunky sexual innuendo.  And, some interesting feedback.

I actually got some responses that more than implied that sexuality has no place in business.  That I am crossing the line.

"Sexuality in business is really pushing a boundary."  - This is what one of the women said.

Regardless of your thoughts on your sexual expressions involvement in business I have an important message for you.

Just because a woman (or man) enjoys sex DOES NOT mean she's promiscuous, having affairs, a slut or any less amazing at what she does (actually she may even be better at it).

Being comfortable with your sexuality and cultivating your sexual/creative energy does not mean that it's flaunted, that a person needs to wear revealing clothing or that they are overly or inappropriately flirtatious.

For many (maybe even you) the idea of sex and business together immediately brings up the idea of women being harassed in the work place or getting ahead by sleeping with someone. *And, yes, I know this still happens.

When it comes to running your own business we are in new times and you are in control.  You can design things how you want!

More sex (or sexual expression - partner not needed) can improve your life and your business.  Drastically.

Those who enjoy a healthy, expressed relationship with their sexuality are more likely to ...

  • be more vibrant and attractive to others

  • feel happier and more relaxed

  • feel more confident and creative (that "I can take on the world" feeling)

  • be more grounded and get stuff done

  • have a healthier relationship with money (and self worth)

Sex is an expression of your own life force.

Sexual energy IS creative energy.

If you deny your sexuality you're also denying pleasure and the desires of your soul - AND your full creative capacity.

What does this mean for you and your business?

Well first, if DOES NOT mean:

  • you have to flaunt T & A to get more clients

  • that you need to do what I do and talk about sex or put it into your marketing

  • or even that you need to have more sex to get the positive effects

What it DOES mean:

  • there are many benefits (including for your business, health, and bank account) to get more comfortable and expressing in YOUR sexuality (whatever that looks like for you)

  • that you can use your sexual/creative energy in your business daily with others noticing it but not knowing it (it can be your little secret)

  • when you feel good, juicy, creative, and turned on your clients benefit, your business benefits, you benefit and so does everyone else in your life

  • as a business owner being aware of and cultivating sexual energy can only benefit - as long as you do it in a way that feels good and authentic to you.

If you feel inspired to cultivate your sexual/creative energy and want to weave its super powers into your work here are two ways (beginner and advanced):

1.  Especially for beginners...

2-5 x per "work day" flex your muscles...your PC muscles (the muscles that stop the flow of pee when you flex them, often referred to as doing a "kegel").

In particular set your intention to increase your creative energy and then flex your pc muscles, hold for 5 seconds as you inhale and then relax as you exhale.  Do this 10x in total (which should only take a couple minutes).

2.  If you are already pretty comfortable with your sexuality and want to use it more to fuel your work...

Set a date to have some sexual play (on your own or with a partner).  As you come to orgasm focus on sending your energy to a  project you are working on.

You may or may not agree with me, and that's okay.  My hope is only that the possibility of opening up to using sexual energy as a tool in your business be brought to your awareness should you be ready for it.
