How to Stay Productive in Your Business

One of my biggest challenges in building my business (and from what I hear it may be one of yours too) has been staying focused and productive.

I built my business to not feel like work.  This makes it oh-so-easy for my ego to pipe up and say things like “You can do it this afternoon/tomorrow/next week.”  “After just 1… 2 more episodes of The Mindy Project.”  And “Things are good enough… you don’t really need to do this.”

And yet, somehow I’ve still managed to build a thriving business…

Why My Launch Failed and How to Prevent Yours From Doing the Same

A few years ago I was so excited to launch this program that I had been working so hard on and was SO passionate about (“6 Weeks to a Turned ON You”).

I did all the things I thought I was supposed to do during a launch. I made videos, stayed up late, created valuable free content, stressed, floundered over lighting for videos, and stressed some more.

All so I could help women feel more turned on in their life.

And yet, here I was feeling the same way I noticed everyone else felt during their launches –stressed, overworked and zapped of energy.

The Biggest Mistake Budding Entrepreneurs Make

70% of start up businesses fail in the first year. Soon after, some of the other 30%, with hard working, passionate people like you behind the scenes, are still destined for overwhelm and ultimately a future you weren't really dreaming of.

It goes to show how so many of us leap unprepared into our visions of freedom and riches, stepping out with wide-eyed optimism and blind faith that the Universe will catch us.

But, apparently, more than 70% of the time, it doesn't.
