Hi, I’m Allison

At my core, my mission is to support you in liberating your most Undeniable Expression and most Potent Leadership, so you can make the impact you know you are here to make.

Who Are You Really?

In the last year I've been faced with many challenges (aka opportunities) to explore pretty much everything in my existence.  Every area of who I am.  Including exploring patterns and labels I've placed on myself.

Like many people I have a tendency to label myself - to put myself in a box...and then get a little attached to being a _______ (insert label).

It showed up really strongly in my relationship with my love last year and I've recently noticed it rearing it's ugly head in my business (not the first time, and it probably won't be the last).  I started noticing myself seeing myself in a certain way and it was feeling restrictive and it wasn't serving me.

I know that when I don't feel the joy and flow that something is out of whack.

*To be clear this isn't a box or label someone else put on me - although, I'm sure others thoughts affect it.  It's really about how I view myself.

And, it's about how YOU view yourself.

When we have labels or boxes that don't truly represent who we are today or who we want to be, or ones that just plain don't feel good, we are stifling ourselves from joy, pleasure and being our best selves.

Don't get me wrong I love to play different roles, to play "dress up" so to speak, but there comes a time when some things just need to be let go of.

Time to move forward.  To do so we must really be honest with ourselves.

I've experienced first hand how stifling and UNfun it is to spend so much energy being someone I'm not, giving myself rules I never wanted.

What are you ready to let go of?  Time to let yourself experience relief.

Inspired by an awesome "double dare" from Erika Lyremark I wanted to explore with you some of the labels we place on ourselves.

And, challenge you to explore the labels you currently have, which ones are ready to be ditched and which new ones you're ready to step into in 4 steps.

  1. Start by making a list of ALL the labels you think you've got.

  2. Take a moment to really feel into each of them and then circle the ones that you no longer want to define yourself by.

  3. Make a list of who you want to be, the "labels" you are ready to step into.

  4. Brainstorm actions you can take to embody who you want to be.

Some of My Outdated Labels:

  • Misfit

  • Irresponsible

  • Selfish

  • Lazy

  • Awkward

  • Independent

  • Relationship coach

  • Daughter

  • Wife

Updated Me:

  • Human Being

  • Partner

  • Leader

  • Intuitive

  • Creative

  • Mentor

  • Trailblazer

  • Business, Life & Purpose Joyologist

  • Friend

  • Sensual Woman

  • Passionate Entrepreneur

  • Honest

  • Vulnerable

Some of the Actions I'm Taking:

  • I am creating from a place of inspiration instead of what I feel like I "should" write about.

  • I am showing up as myself everyday, not who others expect me to be, who I have been in the past but who I AM today.

  • I am setting aside dedicated time to use my hands to create.

  • I'm setting aside time several times a day to tune in, to ask for and receive guidance.

  • I am ensuring that I'm being honest with myself before giving answers to others.

  • I am showing up in service in a way that brings me joy.

In the comments below share 1 label you are ready to ditch and 1 that you are stepping into.
